Heroic Sindragosa down. Arthas hurts.
Well, the last big challenge for Glory of the Icecrown Raider is down for us, expect to see us riding them proudly in the near future. The fight itself wasn't nearly as annoying as Putricide, although suffers in the RNG department slightly in Phase 3.
We got our first look at the big man himself on Heroic, after an hour of attempts we were seeing excellent Phase 1 progress. However at this point in time you really notice how much the lack of 277 gear hurts, this is a fight primarily based around high-tuning after all. Nethertheless, we intend to keep at it and hope to see a kill before Summer kicks in.
In the meantime, we are seeking an excellent Resto Druid/Shaman.

We killed some more stuff!
Heroic Putricide was a tough fight, with crazy amounts of RNG involved. Definitely the toughest time we've had in ICC so far, but he eventually fell at our feet!
One more wing to go until the soul-destroying fight itself!

10-Mans and beyond
Ascent has recently changed their internal structure and downsized to a 10-man guild. With vast numbers of people, the guild suffered from large quantities of personality clashes, internal strifes and drama. The guild itself is now back to its' roots with a strong 10-man raiding team that are eager to finish WotLK content and push forwards into Cataclysm.
We are seeking a few classes to put the finishing touches on our 10-man team:
- Resto Shaman
- Elemental Shaman
- Holy Paladin
- Moonkin
In the meantime, we've cleared a fair amount of the Icecrown heroic fights and have been clearing a large amount of the additional achievements for the Glory of the Icecrown Raider achievement. We expect to have a few more kills within the next week.

First Steps in 10-Heroic
This week we took a look at Heroic modes after our recent victory over the Lich King. The first wing fell before our feet with little hassle except for Saurfang, who gives healers nightmares. I think we also forgot to turn on Heroic for Gunship Battle, but recieved shiny loot and an achievement nonetheless.

ICC10 cleared, and heroic modes unlocked! A really great fight - long, yet never feels dull (and plenty of cool lore). Heroic Modes next reset!
